As an ACCME and ACPE accredited provider of continuing medical and pharmacy education, Cerebrio demonstrates the ability to develop and evaluate effective educational programming that targets recognized knowledge gaps among physicians, pharmacists, and allied healthcare professionals. The high-quality, evidence-based scientific content that we produce serves to educate medical providers through the use of novel and interactive live, print, and online formats. Our content stands as a testament to our high standards of scientific integrity, and our demonstrated respect for and adherence to industry regulatory guidelines.
CME Certification Cerebrio is an accredited provider of medical education, offering both American Medical Association Physician's Recognition Award (AMA PRA) Category 1
CreditsTM and Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accreditation services in a cost-efficient and timely manner. We receive assistance with content review, programming, and guideline compliance from our Editorial and Educational Planning Boards, which are comprised of recognized thought leaders in the fields of medicine and continuing medical education (CME).
Good MeasureTM Outcomes Evaluation
Cerebrio's outcomes evaluation division, Good Measure, is an industry leader in the evaluation of CME program educational outcomes. Cerebrio’s educational process is guided by a desire to engender change in learning and in clinical practice behavior through the implementation of our need-based CME/CE programming. We begin program planning by identifying the learning needs of physicians and/or allied healthcare professionals. These needs become the basis for the creation of outcomes-based learning objectives that guide the content, format, and methodology of our educational programs. The final step in our outcomes-guided learning methodology is the actual assessment of educational outcomes among program attendees. We utilize Good Measure’s Internet-mediated pre- and post-testing survey technology to capture baseline and post-educational program data from course participants. Through data analysis, we are able to assess the change in learning and in clinical practice behavior of course participants.
Content Development
To better ensure that our educational programs are efficiently and effectively “educating” audiences, we apply Adult Learning Principles in our program planning and content development processes. For example, we integrate opportunities for case-based, active, and peer-based learning into our CME activities wherever feasible. Moreover, since it is preferable to deliver consistent messages in varying ways, we carefully tailor the format of each CME program to the content at hand. We believe that our thoughtful planning processes increase the positive impact of each CME activity on participant learning and clinical practice behavior change.
