In order to provide effective educational activities for healthcare professionals, baseline practice disparities and barriers to standard of care must be understood. Thus, pretests and posttests are conducted to quantify the challenges faced by healthcare professionals and to measure the degree to which the educational program addressed the identified educational gap.
